永いお付き合いのお客様の庭の草刈作業をしました。少し前に引越してきたところですが、家も大きく、庭もとても広く、草刈作業も大変でした。
I mowed regular customer’s garden. A customer was moving here at not so long ago. The house was also big and the garden was also very wide, so mowing was serious.
何度も何度もお茶を頂き、汗びっしょりになって草取り作業を終えました。
I received tea from my customer many times. And I have finished sweating and mowing the grass much.

先日、屋上の排水溝が詰まってしまい清掃作業を致しました。以前にも清掃しましたが少しずつ泥やごみが排水溝に溜まってしまいます。
It was filled with a drain in a roof the other day, so I cleaned. I also cleaned before, but mud and trash collect a little.
駅の近くで周りはビル街でちょっと変な感覚です。
This is an office building street near the station. Slightly strange feeling for me.

廃材を利用して物置を造るために、以前から不要になって捨てられる廃材や、不用品処分される家具等を分解して使えそうな材木をストックしておきました。物置の設計図を作る時も今ある廃材で作るので、自分が作りたい形やデザインで制作することが出来ませんでしたが、機能的で使いやすい物置が出来ました。
I stocked the lumber which took a scrap wood and the furniture which became unnecessary apart from before. It’s because a storeroom is made with a scrap wood.
I couldn’t write a plan of the storeroom by the shape that one would like to make using a scrap wood and the design. But I could make a functional storeroom.
我ながら地球環境とお財布に優しいなかなかの物置が出来たと満足しています。
I was satisfied for a reasonable and natural storeroom to be built.

昨日、永いご愛顧を頂いているお宅のご主人様がお亡くなりになられました。ベッドの組み立てのご依頼でお伺いした時に奥様からお聞きしました。前にお伺いした時に奥様から癌の治療をしていることをお聞きしていましたが、ご主人様と会話をしていた様子がそんなに悪いように感じていなかったので驚きました。
The husband in a house who received patronage long yesterday passed away. When being commissioned to put a bed together from his wife yesterday, that was heard from his wife. When I asked to work before, I heard that he had cancer from his wife. I talked with him then. But I didn’t think he felt so sick. I was surprised.
心よりご冥福をお祈り致します。

Windowsでやっていた「湘南ヘルパーズ」の仕事も、だいぶ、Linuxで出来るようになりました。以前はLinuxで出来る仕事が限られていましたが、いろいろと使い勝手の良いソフトウエアが多く出てきました。
Before, I was working by an operating system of Windows. But it could be done now by Linux a lot. There is a lot of software easy to use, and Linux has come out.
何といっても、Linuxの動作は早くて快適です。まだまだ、Windowsでしか出来ない作業もありますが、WindowsとLinuxのパソコンを同時に動かせるのはとても効率良く仕事が出来ます。
By far the most, the movement of Linux is early and comfortable. There is also work which can still be done only by Windows. It’s very efficient that a PC of Windows and Linux can be moved at the same time, and I can work.

昨日は庭木の剪定作業をしました。自然の中での仕事は心身共に気持ちの良いものです。また、この時期、毒虫が少ないのも良いです。
I pruned a garden tree yesterday. When I work in the nature, I become pleasant for minds and bodies. I like that there are few harmful insects this time.

昨日は渋谷でお仕事をしました。田舎暮らしの私は滅多に都会に行かないので、渋谷の様相に驚きを覚えました。立ち並ぶビル街、忙しなく歩く人々、私とは全く別な生き物に感じます。
I worked at Shibuya in Tokyo yesterday. I of the country living rarely go to a city. So I was surprised at Shibuya. An office building street which lines up and the people who walk busily. I felt them for a creature different from me.

今日は毎年依頼されている山道のお掃除を致しました。今年で6年目になりますが、初めて雪が降りしきる中で山道のお掃除を致しました。
I cleaned the mountain path requested every year today. The 5th year has passed this year. While it was snowing, I cleaned a first mountain path.
毎年作業を始めるとすぐに汗をかき始めるのですが、今年は濡れた手は悴み、長靴の中の足も悴み、作業を終えて歩いて降りてくると寒さで手足が痛いほどでした。
When I begin to work yearly, I’ll begin to sweat immediately. But my wet hand was frozen and a foot in my boots was also frozen this year. When I was finishing work and was coming down a mountain, I had a pain in my hand and foot.
