今は亡きお客様だったおばあちゃんから頂いた梅の木に、今年はいっぱい小さな実が付き始めました。おばあちゃんから梅の苗木を頂いた時はとても小さかったのですが、今は私の背丈より大きく成長しました。
The plum tree that was given to us by a now-deceased customer, an elderly woman, has started to bear lots of small fruits this year. When my grandmother gave me the plum sapling, it was very small, but now it has grown taller than me.
